  This is how we pimp "Paws for Reading" at our library
George the stuffed dog is a great advertisement for our monthly "Paws for Reading" program for kids. We put him out a week before the program to encourage more kids to sign up. (The glasses are from the lost and found.)

I love this. It helped inspire me to start a paws for reading program at our library.
It was a big succes and both the kids and the grown ups loved it.
