Here's a neat article about a library in Illinois that is beginning a video game collection to entice teens into the library:

They are starting with a collection of 60 video games which is A LOT -- but you can start small. At our library we just bought 7 video games to start with, and they are going out like hotcakes. It's surprising to me that a lot of the excitement about the video games is coming from the mothers, who seem very relieved that they can check out video games instead of having to fork over the cash to Game Stop to buy 'em for the kids.
